of Roman Catholic men, founded in 1882.

Our Lady of the Assumption in Pensacola Beach, Florida, and
the Navajo Indian reservation in Klagatoh, Arizona.
Council 7272, is composed of 158 men, ages 18 to 89.

The Knights of Columbus was founded by Father Michael McGivney, a parish vicar, to meet the needs of working-class and immigrant families in his parish suffering from the death of a breadwinner.

While the Knights began as this small service organization in Connecticut, it's grown into a worldwide financial and charitable organization.
