* The Knights of Columbus is a fraternal and benevolent society
of Catholic men. 
 
* Founded in 1882 to meet the needs of working-class and immigrant families suffering from the death of a breadwinner.


* Members are dedicated to ideals of
Charity, Unity, Fraternity, and Patriotism.

* The local chapter of Knights supports
the parish and community of St Ann, Gulf Breeze, Florida,
 and its Missions at
Our Lady of the Assumption in Pensacola Beach, Florida, and
the Navajo Indian reservation in Klagetoh, Arizona.
 
* Council 7272, is composed of 155 men, ages 18 to 89. 

 * Admission is open to all qualified Catholic men.
